We have the freedom to recognize that faith isn’t just a feeling, but faith is something more like a conviction that continues to lean on Jesus, and seek his grace, even in the absence of party balloons and fireworks.
People do seek happiness and they do look for ways to be nice to other people. But the tragedy is that we’ve pursued these things in the place of God, without seeking for God.
Even though people agree that love is something we should all aim for, there is widespread disagreement and confusion over what love is and what real love looks like.
We take for granted that things have worth. But what is worth? What is it that makes one thing more valuable than another?
Please be good to our children. Be gracious to our children. And be God to our children, Even as you have been our God, And will be forever.
