On Sunday evening, the sermon was supplied by a pastoral intern named Eric Berg. Eric Berg is currently serving with University Reformed Church in East Lansing, MI. He came up to our church in Mt Pleasant to preach from Matthew 6, verses 24-34. And the thrust of the sermon was to encourage us to cast our anxieties on the Lord, and to live securely in him rather than looking for our sufficiency from created things.
