Just like compelling characters in stories have backstories that explain the significance of their actions, Paul explains the backstory of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. He is supreme over creation and over redemption, and as true God, he has done the unthinkable: become truly man and make peace through the blood of his cross. This should lead us to adore and love him all the more!
