Don’t forget how the glory of Christ is described at the end of verse 14. It says that he’s full of grace and truth. He’s filled to the brim – overflowing!
Jesus is not just one prophet among many. Jesus is The Great Prophet who can reveal God perfectly to us, because he is God and near to God.
God doesn't say, "Love, so that I will love you." But he says, "Love, because I have loved you."
Is anything too hard for the LORD?
God, in his tender mercy, is a God who sees.
For you know the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for our sake, he became poor, so that you, by his poverty, might become rich.
Even if we abandoned our houses and bodies and brains and our playthings, and we stooped down to take on the form of pond scum – even then, we would not have humbled ourselves as much as Jesus Christ did.
Are you satisfied? Real fellowship with God produces completeness of joy.
